The Arctic Centre of the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, the
Université de Montreal (Département de géographie), and the UArctic Thematic
Network on Arctic Law are organizing an
International Conference entitled "Protecting the Sacred: Recognition of
Sacred Sites of Indigenous Peoples for Sustaining Nature and Culture in
Northern and Arctic Regions"
September 11-13, 2013 in Rovaniemi and Pyhä (Finland).
Abstract deadline is 28 February 2013.
