The UArctic Thematic Network on Health and Well-being in the Arctic will arrange a workshop on Community Based Participatory Research: Principles and Practices in the North, at the University of Oulu, Finland on February 12, 2016.

KIC InnoEnergy invites applications for its call for innovation proposals on sustainable energy. The deadline for this call is 4 April 2016.

To celebrate the twenty-year anniversary of the Arctic Council, UArctic (University of the Arctic) has published a special issue of its Shared Voices magazine, released today in Tromsø, Norway as part of the ArcticFrontiersPlus event, organized by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

UArctic’s Thematic Network on Natural Hazards is holding a symposium on Natural Hazards in the Arctic on March 14th during the Arctic Science Summit Week 2016 in Fairbanks, USA.

The 4th China-Nordic Arctic Cooperation Symposium will take place in Rovaniemi, Finland, June 6-9, 2016. The meeting is hosted by the Arctic Centre, University of Lapland and organized by the China-Nordic Arctic Research Centre (CNARC). The call for abstracts is now open, with a deadline of February 25, 2016.

Sámi University College will host the Arctic Indigenous Education Conference 2016, March 14-17, 2016 in Kautokeino, Norway.
