UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Sustainable Arts and Design (ASAD) announces cancellation of the RELATE NORTH symposium and exhibition.

The Northern Sustainable Development Forum is a permanent international expert platform for discussing the issues and prospects of sustainable development of the Arctic and the North. It will be held in Yakutsk, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Russia from Sept 27-30 both locally and online.

Researchers from the Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry RAS and the University of Tyumen have published for the first time data on water quality and concentration of a wide range of elements in small lakes of three Arctic regions of Russia. 

UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Law is pleased to announce the release of a number of books to which members of the network actively participated as both authors and editors.

This year, the 3rd Arctic School of the North-Eastern Federal University and the Northern Forum took place online. The school was held from July 27 to August 7, 2020.

Northern Sustainable Development Forum will be held in Yakutsk from September 27-30, 2020. The forum will focus especially on the North-Eastern sector of the Arctic.

Both schools are organized by North-Eastern Federal University. Arctic Summer School 2020 is co-organized with Northern Forum international organization and will be held online from July 27 – August 7, 2020. Applications until July 25, 2020. Russian language school is from August 10-21, 2020

For the first time in history of Arctic State Agrotechnological University, the international summer school is held in an online format, students and participants from different countries have taken part: Russia, Uzbekistan, Brazil, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, Japan and the USA.
