The UArctic Congress, originally planned for October 2020, will now take place May 15-18, 2021, in Reykjavik, Iceland in conjunction with the Arctic Council Ministerial meeting (May 19-20).

This full-time, two- to three-year position will be located in Juneau, Alaska. Application deadline is 4 October 2020.

A recent graduate from Aalborg University, Monica Gamba has just started her internship experience at the UArctic Thematic Network and Research Liaison Office, Thule Institute at the University of Oulu, where she will spend the next four months. 

The book presents a comprehensive assessment of climate dynamics and anthropogenic impact on biota, environment and nature management in the Murmansk region - one of the most industrially developed regions of the Russian Arctic - with special focus on changes in the life of the Sami - the indigenous people of the region.
