The EU H2020 funded INTERACT (International Network for Terrestrial Research and Monitoring in the Arctic) Transnational Access Call is open for projects taking place between March 2019 and April 2020.  

Jean-Pierre Desforges and Larissa Beumer from Aarhus University visited the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Large Animal Research Station (LARS) to collect activity and behavioural data from direct observations of the captive muskoxen held at LARS.

According to a new study by Michael Wolovick and John Moore, targeted engineering projects to hold off glacier melting could slow down the collapse of ice sheets and limit sea-level rise. The study was published in the European Geosciences Union journal, The Cryosphere.
