The 10th Arctic Frontiers conference, titled Industry and Environment, will be arranged in Tromsø, Norway on 24-29 January 2016. The organizers invite abstracts for presentations to any of the three parts: environmental footprints, Arctic stewardship, and technology needs. Call for papers closes on 21 September 2015.



The Sasakawa Peace Foundation invites applications for innovative programmes and projects focusing on issues related to peace and security. The Foundation supports projects addressing problems in the fields of international understanding, exchange, and cooperation. Deadline is 31 October 2015.



The Singapore-Arctic Council Permanent Participants (AC PP) Cooperation Package offers full postgraduate scholarships for Arctic indigenous peoples for studying in Singapore. The scholarships are available for three Master's programs in public policy, public administration and maritime studies.



The Arctic Academy selection committee, consisting of Korea Maritime Institute leaders and UArctic’s Senior Management Team, has reviewed a total of 28 nominations from 8 countries to the Arctic Academy.
