The next deadline for submitting proposals for new UArctic Thematic Networks is 1 May 2016 for the Council meeting to be held in September in conjunction with the UArctic Congress 2016.

The registration for the UArctic Congress is now open, with the early-bird fee applicable until May 31. The deadline for submitting abstracts has also been extended until April 17. We welcome participants and abstracts from within and outside the UArctic network!

The UArctic Thematic Network on Permafrost/Natural Hazards offers an International Permafrost/Natural Hazards Summer Field School (5 ECTS) in Yakutia, 1-20 August 2016. The course welcomes senior bachelor and graduate students. Application deadline is 15 April 2016.
