UArctic launched a call for two intern positions earlier this year: one at the UArctic International Secretariat at the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland, and another at the UArctic Thematic Networks Office at the University of Oulu, Finland. The Interns have now finalized their training under the MobilityDK project.

The Science Corner of the University of Helsinki organizes two panel discussions on the future of the Arctic on Dec 2-3, 2014 in which experts will focus on current environmental and business-related issues in the Arctic.
