After a long travel in both distance and mind, I am now back in Tromsø, Norway. Our destination was Kolymskoe North East of Sakha Republic Yakutia, and the purpose was the UArctic EALAT Institute Workshop dealing with global challenges and perspectives of reindeer herders in the region.



I went on an exchange to the University Centre on Svalbard through the north2north mobility program from July, 2010 to May, 2011. There I studied Arctic Biology in the most amazing and unique location I have ever lived: an island archipelago at 78oN in the European Arctic.
