Angayuqaq, better known as Oscar Kawagley, died in Fairbanks on April 24th, 2011. He had a very long bout with renal cancer which finally caught up with him.



The deadline for abstract submission for the Land-Ocean Interactions in the Coastal Zone (LOICZ) Open Science Conference, held in Yantai, China, September 12-15 has been extended. The new deadline is May 31, 2011.
