Ph.D. students explore Greenland through the Dartmouth's Polar Environmental Program

Seven Ph.D. students embark upon an educational experience on the coast of Greenland. 2009 is the first year that Dartmouth’s new Polar Environmental Program is offered and it expects to get five or six other students in the coming months.
Findings through the Arctic Species Trend Index (ASPI) reflect a decline of 26% in species populations in high arctic regions. The most current edition of the ASPI report will be presented at the State of the Arctic conference in Miami, Florida and it will be made available on the internet after March 17, 2010 at www.asti.is
